Spencer Dent was a true sportsman.  His life exemplified the character and dedication to the game of baseball that was shown throughout his life.  Spencer was a native of Texas and a West Side Little League player.  The Spencer Dent Memorial Foundation honors his memory by recognizing other little league players that adhere to the principles of playing the game with all their heart.
